"> 1 Flares 1 Flares ×

Wedding flip flops are a topic of much discussion, especially as summer weddings are getting closer and closer: Some people are totally for them, some completely against them! We’ve found, though, that regardless of your opinions on how appropriate flip flops are at a formal event, having comfortable shoes that also match your dress is never a bad thing!

Walking down the aisle in your gorgeous 4-inch platform Benjamin Adams’ may not wreak havoc on your arches, but we’ll eat our hats if you’re not wishing for a more comfortable shoes after standing in the receiving line for ten minutes. You all remember what happened to Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, right?

Enter the wedding flip flop! Comfortable, platformed enough to keep your dress of the ground, they match your wedding gown and are decorated to keep your toes looking fabulous! And the best part? Since flip flops are traditionally a more causal shoe, they can be worn with nearly any outfit during your honeymoon!

We’re a big fan of the Shoe Boy line of wedding flip flops, which are designed and only sold here at My Glass Slipper.

You can also incorporate flip flops into the wedding reception for your guests. Providing a comfy change of shoes for your guests means they have no excuse not to get down on the dance floor! Their feet will thank you, and everyone will have a better time when they can loosen their laces and celebrate your nuptials more comfortably.
